Command And Conquer Generals Zero Hour Patch For Windows 7
I just recently puchased a new computer that runs windows7 Pro. I installed C&C Generals and Zero Hour without a problem. However when I play Generals in campaign mode, when I get to the end of the first scenerio it does not continue. All I get is a message that I'm victorious and do I want to play it over again.
There is no continue button. In skirmish mode I get about 30 secs into the game and my base blows up. I've turnd the speed down without any luck. Still the same problem.
Anybody ever heard of this problem?I using a Digital storm PC with 2 Nvidia 275 video cards. Zero Hour plays fine in both campaign mode and skirmish. I'm at a loss. I've tried every compatibilty feature I could think of without any luck. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hi Warvet68,Sorry for late reply.

Hi,notes that C&C General and Zero Hour is compatible with Windows 7. The reason that you can’t run this game can be related to the video driver. Please download the latest video driver from the following NVIDIA site:Please note: we provide the 3rd party link to download relevant driver for technical use only.

Tutorial autocad 2014 bahasa indonesia kelas. Didn't know there were any updates for this game. I just purchase it so I assumed that this was the latest version.
As far as compatibility mode goes, I tried them all. I have another computer that runs XP sp2 and the game works fine there so I tried to copy those settings but without luck. I ran it as admin. And without; I ran in Vista mode and XP sp3 as well as sp2 with same problem.
I thought maybe there was some kind of patch out there. I haven't been able to find anyone else with this type of problem.
Most people are having install problems. Both Generals and Zero hour installed without a hitch. Zero hour play beautifully, but Generals has got me puzzled. Can you give me more info on these updates? Much appreciated.Warvet68.
Maybe I'm assuming to much, but I just received my pc within the past month from DS. I figured that the latest NVIDIA drivers would have been installed. What is strange is that all the other versions of c&c seem to play ok, Red alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge.
I have them set like my other computer, at XP sp2. Haven't had a problem of any kind. Like I said in the original question, the game seems to play fine until I end the scenerio of any campaign than it asks me if I want to replay, not continue. And the skirmishes almost looks like a settings problem, but I'll be darned if I can find any setting that coincides with this function. Is there any way of finding out what the latest drivers are on my system? I'd hate to install something that I already have. Thanks for your assistanceWarvet68.

I have a similar problem. Game starts fine, but afther several seconds playing skirmish my base blows up. I've noticed it happens just afther i built a radar showing oponent's base, or when unit of any kind reach oponent's base and see what is in it.I've installed latest graphic card drives (Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Family) and started game in WinXP SP3 compatibility mode and turned off aero and desktopcompositions.
Lastest patches for C&C Generals and Zero Hour have been installed and problem still appears. When I've used Windows XP SP3 everything worked fine. Now I amworking on Windows 7 Pro.I will be grateful for any kind of help. Thanks, HannibalKing. I have a similar problem. Thanks, HannibalKingI am experincing the exact same issue except that I don't get to bulid anything more then a couple of construction dozers and a power plant before my base blows up. I checked the posted link for the C&C 1.09 patch; it appears to be for TiberiumWars not Zero hour.
According to the built in patches check with the game I have all available patches. The game runs perfectly on my laptop with Windows XP SP3 installed but I would really like to run it on my desktop with the larger screen. The hardware I am using is:Intel Core2 Quad CPU (Q9650); 4GB RAM; Intel GMA X4500 Graphics running Windows7 Pro(64).I offer thanks in advance to anyone who can offer a solution to this problem. In 'My Documents' (usually at C:usersYOURNAMEdocuments) there should be a folder named 'Command and Conquer Generals Data' or 'Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data', which was put there when you installed the game. You need to createa text file using notepad and save it into this folder. However, you must click 'save as' and change the type drop-down box from text file (.txt) to 'all files'.
Zero Hour Community Patch 1.061.06 is a community created balance patch for Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. It came about after Electronic Arts abandoned Zero Hour on version 1.04 in a abysmal state of imbalance and monotony.1.06 maintains the fast paced aggressive play of Zero Hour while allowing for a greater variety of viable strategies and equalizing all factions. It also has the excellent feature of not requiring a reinstall of ZeroHour and allowing you to easily switch between 1.04 and 1.06 as you please.A full list of the changes can be read at:All credits for the work go to.
